Job description
Primary job is to manage Capex budget of Engineering teams.
Reviews and analyzes quotes for submitting purchase requisitions.
Coordinates activities with Sourcing team for proposals, manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire information on request, delivery updates, inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.
Processes Technical hardware software request, validate budget approvals for further submitting
Purchase requisition in Oracle R12. Coordinate with sourcing and Ops procurement team for PO release and delivery updates with the team as well as suppliers.
Responsible for maintaining business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities
numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems.
Work with Labs team to get appropriate Bill of Material.
Work with them to create h/w and s/w Purchase Requests within available budget.
Work with Procurement team to get proper quotation.
If needed, follow up with concerned people to get the Purchase Request approved.
Coordinate with vendor and Procurement team to get the delivery date.
Once delivered, inform stakeholders and Labs team.
Complete the receiving in Oracle.
Prepare and send various related reports to concerned stakeholders.
Keep learning about new technologies which will help in making purchase decisions.
Time to time manage various initiatives and projects of Labs team.
Skills required -
Good communication - written and spoken
Ability to work with diverse set of people.
Good spreadsheet knowledge
