Roles and Responsibilities
Making price comparison for finalization of order.
Sending RFQ to suppliers and getting quote with respective suppliers.
Handling Imports of material for across the globe mainly from Italy and China.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of material against pending orders.
Development of new vendors for alternate sourcing & import substitution.
Finalization of freight forwarders for imports and export consignments & custom clearance.
Technical knowledge of Casting, Forging & Metal sheet components.
Reading of Drawings and technical feasibility about components.
Vendor selection and Evaluation procedures.
Custom clearance documentation for Imports & Exports.
Cost optimization of inbound and outbound logistics cost.
Maximization of developing local sources against imports.
Desired Candidate Profile
Expertise in SAP MM Module
Good Communication & Negotiation skills.
